J.K Rowling dreamed of becoming a writer since she was a child. However, she would have to persevere for many years before realizing her dream of becoming a published author. Rowling sought a position as a teacher in another nation as a result of the downturn that followed. She would soon marry and have a kid, further delaying her ambitions.

Most people are unaware that Steven Spielberg was turned down three times for film school. He didn't let the rejections deter him, and he continued to apply until he was accepted. He was eventually accepted into the film school at Cal State Long Beach.
Fortunately for Spielberg, he was able to use his Cal State opportunity to secure an unpaid internship at Universal Studios.
Of course, this internship wouldn't last indefinitely, but it was long enough for him to learn how to sneak into the studios undetected in order to acquire information on what it took to succeed in the industry.
Finally, the day would arrive when he would be able to get a picture he had written into the hands of studio officials. However, he had to fight several attempts by Hollywood executives to persuade him to give up.
The executives ultimately relented and gave him his film a chance after being warned many times that the film size was not the correct size and redoing the complete demo to the suggested sizes each time. The film went on to win numerous awards and cemented Steven Spielberg's position in the business.

8.Paulo Coelho is a Brazilian author.
A book called 'The Alchemist' was published over 30 years ago with little fanfare. The publisher determined the book was a flop after the first year and terminated Coelho's contract. Fortunately, Coelho was able to overcome his initial setback. He had made up his mind not to give up, so he redoubled his efforts to find a new publisher and follow his idea even more zealously.
Finding a new publisher was proving difficult, as he received rejection after rejection. But he did eventually land that new publisher, and with it, another chance to realize his goal.
Coelho's aspirations began to come true from that point forward. He only sold three thousand books at first. But sales continued coming in, as he sold ten thousand, then a hundred thousand, and so on.
Coelho's luck hasn't run out yet, as his book sales continue to rise year after year, with more than 150 million copies of 'The Alchemist' sold to date. Even more astounding is the fact that he sold over 320 million volumes when all of his works are taken into account.
